About Primal Walk

Human beings are designed to walk, but somewhere along the evolutionary trail, we forgot how to walk well. We don’t move the way our ancestors did. While they walked tall, we slouch. While they walked with their chins in and their chests held high, we have become a nation of swaybacks.

Our poor posture and gait damage our skeletal structure and joints, reducing our stability and strength. Even our mindfulness and sense of well-being suffer, all because we walk incorrectly.

In Primal Walk, licensed acupuncturist Greg Shim, LAc, MEd, teaches us how to walk the way nature intended. While modern humans walk with a heel strike, toes pointing up with each step, Shim proves we should be walking with a forefoot strike—the same graceful motion used by professional runners. And more importantly, he teaches us how to maximize our piezoelectric production- the literal spark of life!
